Upgrade Client To Media Server

This issue has been solved. See solution.
I have a 7.0.1 Client which I would like to make into a 7.5.0.4 Media Server - is it simply a straight forward install of the 7.5 software specifying Media Server and then the 7504 Update, or do I need to un-install the client software first ?
Licensing is not an issue here - all covered.
Thanks,
AJ.

Uninstall the client software first, then do the 7.5 server install as you suggested. Then patch afterwards to 7.5.0.4
It really is that simple!
Thanks for the quick response.
As this client is included in the NBU configuration (its a VMware Backup host) and policies are there any implications in uninstalling the client (i.e. will references to it get removed - VMware Backup Host / Authentication entries etc.).
Thanks,
AJ
Uninstalling on Client does not change/remove/update any entries on the master server.
You may need to re-add credentials for VM backups after media server installation.
Supporting Storage Foundation and VCS on Unix and Windows as well as NetBackup on Unix and Windows
