    Hello, I'm trying to update our Endpoint Protection Manager to the latest 12.1.2015 version, but I get an error when the setup tries to complete the migration. I believe the problem is due to some kind of sep.slf license problem, but I have no idea on how to proceed. I have tried to call the technical support here in Italy, no answer after 40minutes...

    HI,

    Looks like some database problem you can try Disater receovery

    What are you looking at to make this determination?

    I have similar issue and I'm not doing disaster recovery unless I have a good reason other than "Looks like some database problem you can try Disater receovery"

    No, I'm using the package Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_SBE_12.1.2_Part1_Installation_IT downloaded from Fileconnect according to our license code.

    Hello,

    Here are the Errors we see from the above logs -

    Question:
     
    From what version of SEPM are you trying to Migrate? What is the Current version of SEPM?
    Is that SAV 10.x?
     
    Suggestions:

    The cause of the problem seems to be due to the fact that the installation/upgrade did not copy the sep.slf and the sep_OD.slf files into the following installation directory:

    C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Protection Center\tomcat\etc\license

    To resolve the issue, copy the files sep.slf and the sep_OD.slf from the Symantec Endpoint Protection version 12.1 RU2 installation media.

    These files are located in the \SEPM folder on the Installation Media. Copy the files into the new 12.1 RU2 installation location:  C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Protection Center\tomcat\etc\license

    Run the file upgrade.bat located in the folder, C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Protection Center\bin
