Can somebody PLEASE help me!  I'm sure this isn't the best place to post this, but I'm at my wits end and don't know what else to do or where else to ask.  I am am a poor student and can't affort to give someone my credit card number before they'll even speak to me on the phone.  The chat and email support are useless because they do not understand English or the products they are supposed to be suporting (and I presume the phone support would be the same anyway).

 

I have Norton "Personal Firewall 2005" and "Norton System Works 2005" and my subscription is running out.  I bought "Norton Internet Security 2008" from PC World.  How do I install it?

 

Do I have to remove the Firewall (and have to re-enter the rules I added myself)?  Can I remove the Anti-Virus component of NSW2005?   Or willl IS2008 detect both these products and sort it out for me?  Do I wait till the day my subscription expires, or will IS2008 recognise me somehow and add the next renewal date on the present one?

 

And if I have to reinstall NSW2005 (now or ever, without the AV component), will I still be able to get the software updates for it (for v.8 to v.8.3)?  (Ditto GoBack v.4 to 4.2?)  (I cannot find anything on the website except the NSW v 8 to 8.2 update.)

 

If anyone can help me, or can send this to someone who can, please do.  Thanks in desperation.
