  • 1.  Upgrade NS to 7.1 but leave HelpDesk on 6.X until later

    Would it be wise to upgrade NS to 7.1 and leave Helpdesk on 6.X until we get things figured out?  We would put NS 7.1 on new hardware so the old equipment is still inplace.  Sound doable?

    I know this is old, but many users are doing this as there isn't enough parity between DS 6.9 SP4 and Deployment Solution 7.1.

    We still have ours configured this way, although SP2 just came out for SMP/CMS and that is supposed to bring in more features.
