Endpoint Protection

How does one go about upgrading a MR2 installation to the latest patch?  Would I first have to upgrade MR2 to MR4?

As mentioned in the migration documentation and in the release notes for MR4 MP1 you will need to migrate to MR4 prior to migrating to MR4 MP1.

From the release notes:

"This maintenance pack cannot be installed over any versions of Symantec Endpoint Protection or Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager prior to MR4. It must be installed over Maintenance Release 4."

Upgrade to MR4MP1a if you plan do so. Of wait for a couple of weeks for MR4MP2 to come out...
