upgrade PGP desktop

Hello

I'm wondering how to enable button check for update in PGP Desktop now In Policy I check on Consumer Policy  General.   "Notify users of software updates and automatically download" . Account has admin privilage but still this setting are disable.

Somebody has solution ?

As long as that user is assigned that policy (make sure it is the effective policy) and that the policy has updated, it should work.  Manually update the policy and restart pgptray.exe to flush the policy.

By default software updates are enabled as it's happened to me on a demo network with no settings on, I update the PGPUN with the PUP update, and once the policy updates PGP Desktop says there's an update

Thanks for info but This metod need privilage administrator for user and after reinstal system should be restart. In production envirement I don't recomend to use .

I discover for what is this button .

In manual I've found recently  that „The option to automatically check for updates is no longer available in PGP Desktop, starting with version 10.1. To check for an update or to install an update, you must manually download the file.”
