Data Loss Prevention

Hi,

We have a problem on Symantec Data Loss Prevention Enforce+Oracle 11.0 about upgrading to 11.1. We were using Symantec Data Loss Prevention 10.5 on Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition. We have upgraded to 11.0. While We have been planning this upgrading, We have used to Symantec_DLP_11.0_Upgrade_Guide_Win. But We can not upgrade to 11.1. When The Upgrade is starting,We are getting a this error; "Database Upgrade Failed".

It may be the case that tables created during the first attempt as a part of the upgrade are still present and are hampering the real attempt to upgrade to v11.1

Work around:

Login into SQLPlus as protect, and:

drop table UPGRADER_ERRORLOG_V11_1_0;

drop table UPGRADER_PROGRESS_V11_1_0;

drop table UPGRADER_TRACKER_V11_1_0;

Restart the upgrader.

When I tried "drop tables" , I have got; ERROR at line 1:ORA-00942: table or view does not exist

Please Try 11.0 MP1 Upgrader

The 11.0 MP1 Upgrader is not the same as 11.1 Version, 11.1 is a major release whereas 11.0 MP1 is only an maintenance patched update version of 11.0.

The upgrader Symantec_DLP_11.0_MP1_Upgrader_Win-IN.zip download is available on your fileconnect site, https://fileconnect.symantec.com/licenselogin.jsp?localeStr=en_US

then Directly try to upgrade 11.1.1 version
