I've just upgraded our SEPM to RU7 MP3 as we can't yet go to 12. Everything appears to be working fine apart from when I click on results from home page the screen comes up blank and when I try to generate reports a windows flashes up briefly and then dissapears with no information.

disable Enchanced security in Internet explorer.

You can disable Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration from within the Server Manager:

Both are already turned to off

Unfortunatly these tips didn't work either windows server 2008 standard edition 64 bit. I thought it might be the popup blocker as when I launch from the home page I get a flickering window that then appears blank apart from SPC Reporting on the top of the window.

When I try and open it from reports tab the window flickers and vanishes.

What's the IE version? SEPM installed OS details?

Try these steps:

1. Open Internet Explorer on the affected system
2. Press the Alt key to expose the File menu
3. Click Tools>Compatability View Settings
4. Add the appropriate address for the SEPM:
   1. For a local SEPM console, add "localhost"
   2. For a Java Remote SEPM console, add the hostname of the SEPM server
5. Click the Close button to save the changes

Hi Chetan we are still on IE7 on this machine.

I've tried the steps and still having the same issue. Odd thing is the backup manager using the same database has no issues at all and servers are identical. Also logged into the web console on the machine having the issue and that had no problems seems to only be the the actual install of the SEPM on this server that's having the issue.

Just discovered that also when I try and access the notifcations window via the monitors tab this is also having the same issue.

if you try the same from Remoteweb console. does that show up properly?

In IE select bypass proxy for local server address.

Yes when I remote web console it works fine.

Any pop up blocker enabled?

I'm suspecting IE. Can you rest the IE to its default settings?
