    Hi all,

Has anyone had an issue with 12.1 RU5 where the emailed scheduled reports aren't being sent out?

Has anything changed reports wise in the upgrade?

I've recently upgraded an SEPM from 11 RU7 MP4 to 12.1 RU5 before then all sceduled reports were working correctly. Since the upgrade we have not recieved a report. I've refreshed all reports and even set up a test report to fire up to myself every hour but have not yet recieved anything.

    Any Ideas anyone?

Had an issue prior to 12.1.5 where emails stopped, we'd restart the SEPM service and it "fixed" it. Since we upgraded to 12.1.5, this has not been a problem though.

Did you delete/re-create? Is that what you meant by refreshed?

Yeah we tried refreshing the dates and deleteing and re-creating the reports.

SEPM server has been rebooted about 4 times since the upgrade so services have been refreshed too :-(

Any .err files in the outbox/inbox?

You should also be able to turn on FINEST debugging and re-produce the issue, should show in this log.

check if any mails from SEPM reached your exchange server...

and also enable this and post the catalina.out

    • scm.mail.troubleshoot=1
      • This setting will cause additional email debug output to be saved to the "tomcat/logs/catalina.out" log file.

Found it the upgrade had moved the SEP email name into the user login field for mail so it was looking for a password for the user account which it doesn't need for the mail relay.

As always guys thanks for the fast reponces
