  • 1.  Upgrade SEPM from 12.1.2 to 12.1.3

    Posted Aug 29, 2013 12:21 PM

so I am about to upgrade our SEPM server from 12.1.2 to 12.1.3.  If I run the 12.1.3 SEPM installer, will it detect 12.1.2 installed and use all the same settings?  Will I have to reconfigure things?

    Thanks,

    Paul

    Hello,

Yes, it would use the same settings as of previous SEPM 12.1 RU2.

If you are planning to upgrade or migrate to Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1.3, please take a look at the latest how-to article created by our very own SEP content council team.

    HI,

It is easy to upgrade from 12.1.2 to 12.1.3, but as a best practice make a backup of the existing SEPM.
