I am planning for upgrade the symantec endpoint version, I will upgrade the client later will all old version clients normal connected to newer symantec console?

Yes all clients will normally communicated.

Yes ,all old client connected normally but as a best practices you can upgrade your sep client.

What exact SEP version are you upgrade ?

12.1 manager can manage 11.0 GUPs and 12.1 GUPs can update 11.0 clients.

yes it will work without issue. Best recommended is that both client and sepm are in same version.

SEP 12.1 will easily manage all previous of 12.1 and 11.x

Upgrading or migrating to Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1.4100.4126 (RU4 MP1)
