Hi All,

Can you give me how to 'Upgrade Symantec Netbackup Puredisk (PDDO) 6.6 to Symantec Netbackup 7.5 ?

This is existing environment :

Puredisk Server version : 6.6 (bundle with Suse Enterprise)

Platform : Suse Enterprise Linux 10

Storagepool : 4 TB (/Storage/data)

I need this solution because netbackup versin 6.x end off support from symantec :

NetBackup Puredisk and NetBackup are different products.

NetBackup 6.x is end of life but currently NetBackup PureDisk is at 6.6.3a so the best you can do is to make sure you are on the latest patch.

If you also use NetBackup then it is best to upgrade that to the latest version but you have no current EOL worries about PureDisk as far as I am aware

Hope this helps

Mark is right, both are two different products of Symantec. You might need to discuss with your local vendor all the necessary requirements needed to setup Netbackup either to your existing machine or a new one that will cater Netbackup.
