UPgrade time for Enterprise Vault version 10

We are upgrading to EV 10 from EV 9 and are trying to get some handle on how long it will take to update our 86 Gb of Indexed data to the new 64 bit system on  EV 10. Is there any formula to allow us to calculate how much time is involved with the conversion? Thanks

You don't have to upgrade all the indexes for them to be usable.  Once you upgrade to EV 10 the 32bit indexes will become read-only, then you are able to upgrade those to 64bit in a staged approach.

There isn't an impact on end users as they are able to continue to search and use archive explorer without interuption.

But the actual rate you get will vary, and if you have moved items into collections, and then migrated those collections to tape, then you are going to be looking at a very very long time. Remember that collections will be expanded back on disk/brought back from 2nd tier when you do this.

My real world experience is that indexes rebuild at a rate of somewhere between 1 and 2.5 million items per day per server unless there is some sort major problem.
