Upgrade within SEPM?

Created: 26 Sep 2013 | 10 comments

Is it possible to upgrade SEPM from 12.1.2 to 12.1.3 within the program? Or will I need to download the full software from the download site?

Thanks

You will need to download the new version. You cannot upgrade from the SEPM

Some software can be updated by clicking a button or a link within the user interface like Adobe Reader, others require you to download the new version from a dedicated portal like MS Offce.

Why this difference? The real difference is in the licensing, The freeware/shareware does not require a license check while commercial software, like SEP, requires some verification around who is downloading it.

Hey All,

I also need to upgrade from 12.1 to 12.1.3. I have never upgraded SEP. When I go to fileconnect and put in the only code I have, I'm given my current version to download. Where do I get the code for 12.1.3?

Thanks In Advance,

So your current serial does not display 12.1.3?

You can call support and have them send you a new one.
