  • 1.  Upgrading and changed emailadress.

    1.5 years ago, i bought PGP Desktop professional. The last upgrade i did was 10.1.2 build 9. Is it still possible for me to upgrade to latest version? And is it also possible to activate the license, because my old emailadress dont't exsist anymore? I tried to connect the License portal, but i get errormessage. Message: You request could not processed, contact Symantec support. I did, but no response, even after mail notification. Is PGP Desktop Professional still supported?

    This PDF describes the current way to receive PGP updates/upgrades that you are eligible for.  As stated in it, if there is not a free update/upgrade there that you think you should be eligible for, or which you are having difficulty with, you need to contact Customer Care.  You might want to consider just downloading the current PGP Desktop Trial and see if it accepts your license - it is the same software package as PGP Desktop Professional - the level of functioning is determined by the entered license.

    In my PGP Desktop, all options are active except the Netshare option. License expires never. I already contacted Support Service for the second time. First I will wait for their answer and let you know. My last upgrade was in the time of PGP Corporation.

    Please make sure you are contacting Customer Care (who deals with all the licensing issues) and not Tech Support (who has nothing to do with licensing issues). Since you have PGP installed and licensed, you can run a new installation without uninstalling your current version - the PGP install will result in your licensing information  being  maintained for the new installation without any action on your part.
