  • 1.  Upgrading clients to 12.1.6 MP3 from 12.1.5 (Handful of Servers unresponsive upon reboot)

    Anybody else running into an issue upon upgrading to 12.1.6 MP3 whereby when they remotely push the package and force the reboot upon completion that the box(es) become unresponsive for a couple hours (Than magically come back online, one failed and the other was successful)?

    This has happened twice so far, so not like every box is showing the same symptoms as we have ~550+ successful thus far. Thoughts?

    Haven't seen this during any pushes. What SEP components are installed and in use? What OS and what hardware are you using? Dell, Lenovo, IBM?

    You'll likely need to get a case open and provide advanced logging so they can look at root cause.

    Can you check the event viewer to see when the msi setup was complete and how long it took to reboot and be online?

    AFAIK after upgrade it would have downloaded latest updates and might took some time but not sure
