Endpoint Protection

hi! i will be replacing my older version of endpoint 11with newer mr4 mp2 + resetup the server due to the hd capacity issue of the older version. My question is that, can i re-install the client with the new endpoint (by pointing it to the new server name with the new endpoint package) by overwriting the older version or i need to unistall the old one first (i'm renaming the server name)? + more importantly will this mr4 mp2 fix the issue of huge def + content files of the older version?

Yes. You don't need to uinstall the clients first. You can create new pacakge following this kb and install it on the clients
