  • 1.  Upgrading SEP Mgr. 11.MR5 into MR6 failed due to rolling back installation

    Hi All,

    I'm about to upgrade my Symantec End Point Manager console from 11 MR5 into MR6, however the installation progress seems to be failed and rolling back in the progress of "Registering IIS component" ?

    and now the SEP mgr. stopped and i cannot login to my SEP console, can anyone please advise where to start to look for the error log or to start the SEP service at least ?

    Pls paste upgrade.log which is present in SEPM\tomcat\logs

    1. Registered dll IIsScHlp.wsc in command prompt type: regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\iisschlp.wsc
    2. Backup the SEPM database
    3. Re-installed SEPM
    4. Restore SEPM DB from the backup above

    now I'm running fine with the latest SEPM 11.0.6
