All, I am trying to update my windows 7 machines from 12.1.2 to 12.1.3. My installation is telling me that I have to start the BFE service. Here is my issue. When I start the service my machine can no longer be managed from the network. I can keep my remote desktop but I am unable to ping the machine. How can I update the application from my SEPM if it can not see the machine once the BFE is on?

This seems odd since it is on. Have you tried a reboot after starting it?

Yes. We have a GPO that automatically turns it back on. My question is why is it that it drops offline when I turn it on?
