  • 1.  Upgrading from Windows Server 2003 R2 to Windows Server 2012

    We are using SEP 12.1 Samll Business Edition and next week we will be upgrading to a new server.  I was wondering what steps we should take to either copy or migrate the SEP data over to the new server?  It would be great to maybe have a PDF instruction sheet so I don't screw things up.  Any help would be great, thanks!

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting in Symantec community.

    Could you share the exact SEPM version & number of SEP clients? You can not copy the data. Need to take backup which will be stored in .zip forma.t

    Need to perform disaster recovery because options are limited with Small Business Edition compare to Enterprise Edition.

    The exact version of SEPM is 12.1.1000.157 (RU1) and we have 13 clients, we are showing 14 clients because we are overdeployed by one as of this month because of a new computer.  Thank you for your help!
