Client Management Suite

  • 1.  Uprading to Client Management Suite 7.1 SP2

    I am upgrading from Client Management Suite 7.1 SP1b to SP2. All of my other suites and solutions are already up to SP2, so I am not sure how this one was missed. The only documentation I can find on the upgrade points back to ITSM, but we dont have the full ITSM, only CMS.

    Has anyone had any trouble with the upgrade?

    and ignore the bits that don't apply.

    You might be showing as CMS needing upgrade if your DS is out of date.

    SIM was changed a while ago intentionally to prevent something like that happening.  I guess if you haven't had any problems, maybe not a big deal.  However, I'd definently get it updated as soon as possible.

    The big takeaway from SP2 was to make sure that it didn't get installed via 'View and Install Updates' in the SIM.
