    Posted Feb 10, 2016 01:32 AM

    Hi,

From last 3 months i am facing virus problem in my personal computer. Whenever I copy any file in Memory Card (SD card) its all files automactically corrupt and it create a single file name USBC. I have formated my pc only c drive and changed the hard disk, card reader and memory card but still the issue not been resolved.

I have tried many antivirus like AVIRA quick heal guardian and I also tried symantec endpoint protection antivirus but no one able to remove usb c virus from my PC. I have also run the full scan with level 5 and boot scan.

So please help how can I remove this virus from my pc. Some time its create multiple files with unknown format.

I have windows 7 installed in my desktop.

USBC virus file cannot be copy so I cannot submit these files to you

Note: I have not formated my complete system because it has lot of data like songs, videos and image.

Maybe your SD Card reader is mallfunctioning or your SD Card reader connection.

Have you tried it at another system?

I think it is not a virus.

I agree with ict-user its not a virus you just need to use some Recovery software to attempt to get the data back.

    Hi Rakesh1986Kumar,

This does not sound like a malware issue to me.

Yes its showing in another pc and mobile also.

Even I have changed my hard disk and motherboard also but the issue is still coming.

I am not able to understand why its corrupting only memory card.

If you search on Google there are a lot of people who panic and call it a virus.

Do you eject the SD card correctly? A lot of people corrupt there removable storage by not eject it properly.

    Hi Ict-user,

    Thanks for your reply

I always safely remove any usb drive.

I am also not sure this is virus issue or what ? because most of the usb viruses are  exe , batch file and autorun file.

But in my situation its corrupting all the data and creating a single file ( USBC)

Main problem is we cannot copy that usbc file.
