Check the outstanding

Check the outstanding alerts.

Note: As a media server, Win2003 SP2 and above are compatible with BE2012.

Hi Ed,   Do 1 of 2 things: 1.

Hi Ed,

Do 1 of 2 things:

1. Restart the BE services and see if this allows you to either re-add it again or if the service restart doesn't sort this out.

2. Get hold of b2dtest.exe and run it against the USB drive to see if it is compatible as a B2D location.

Thanks!

In addition to the above,

In addition to the above, check if this USB drive is being shared or not...and also do check if "hold job queue" is un-checked...

...are you running SP1a for BE 2012? Note that if you aren't, and want to install it, that you can't uninstall it. You need to completely uninstall BE 2012 to do so.

Thanks!

1. Stop all your BE

1. Stop all your BE services;

2. Get SP1a from the link below. Be aware that once installed, the only way to uninstall it is to remove BE 2012 itself.
