I am setting up a Central LiveUpdate server to push Virus definitions to 64-bit servers in a DMZ. How can I use HTTPS Port 443?

If you are using the liveupdate administration tool, you would configure it to download the content and place it in a given folder. Then you would use either IIS or some other webservice and create the Website for the folder where LU Admin is dumping the files. Make sure that if you want it to be HTTPS then you configure that in IIS or your webserver. In the SSC, you would right click the group, select all taks, LiveUpdate, configure and specify the URL of the Website you created.

Thanks for the response; sorry it took so long to get this tested.

Ok I have done what you said but the Live Update still is not working. I can browse to the download folder using IE [https://10.16.232.109/lu/] from the server in the DMZ. When I use Live Update I get a LU1814 error. If I run netstat –n, Symantec is still using port 80.

Any more suggestions?
