When we log on to another account on the same PC the menu for Offline vault appears! I have tried to disable and enable his account for archiving but with no different result. He tried to log on to another PC with no different result. He still cant see the Offline vault menu.. help!

You could try if the users outlook profile is causing problems. Just make a test profile and see if the offline vault option is visual. So rightclick on outlook icon/profiles/new profile and select that outlook loads this profile next time. Otherwise try to install the user extension again.Message was edited by:

Put user into Outlook Cached Mode.
Tools / Options / Email Accounts / Use cached mode.
Outlook is already in Cached Exchange Mode! We have tried to log on to different computers with the same result. He still cant see Offline menu... more ideas please..
Are you using roaming profiles? It might explain why the problem is following the user around. Have you confirmed the registry settings while the user is logged in to ensure the relevant keys are setup appropriately?
Oops, I was confused with the owa tool bar, stupid me. I changed my previous post to make it on topic :)
btw the registry settings for that user are under:
\current user\software\kvs\enterprise vault\client
There is a key OVEnabled which should have value 1.
