User defined scan does not run after the computer is Turned ON

Hi,

I am using a Managed client  and a user has defined a weekly schedule scan every saturday @ 11:00 am with missed schedule scan with retry interval as 8 hrs.

The user has turned on the pc after 11:00 am and the scan does not run

What version of SEP is this for?

You would need to enabled the vpdebug to check further what's happening exactly.

Registry path for user defined custom schedule scan through SEP client , we are using windows 7 64bit

You should find the scheduled scans under: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\AV\LocalScans

We have 2 defined scan from Manager console and one configured from client end.

In the registry it shows only the 2 numbered folder which is for the scan configured from Manager console

Will it have any name or any such things

Under these numbered keys you should find several values about scan configuration, schedule, etc - name of the scan as well under them.
