Greetings,
Is there a way to have the default directory for the User Migration files be on a network share?

SETTING:
TOOLS-OPTIONS-PREFERENCES-USER MIGRATION

From there I browse to place a path, after having mapped a network share, but it will not let me select it.

Best Regards,

location

Marshall,

I've seen this behavior before. I recommend mapping a drive to a folder on that share with a drive letter, then browsing to it that way. Definitely map to a folder on that share, and not the root of that share. How I would do it is this:

G:\UserMigration

...where the G drive is mapped to the folder on that share, like \\machinename\folder.

I hope that helps!

Thank you,

Randy

Randy, Thanks for the

Randy,
Thanks for the reply.

I've mapped to a folder within the network share like you said opposed to the root path but it will still not let me select it.

Best Regards,

Marshall

Hotfix

Marshall,

A colleague pointed out to me there is a known bug, and we have a hotfix for this. Follow the steps in this article:

Unable to select a mapped network drive as a repository for Backup Regimes or User Migration Packages in the Ghost Solution Suite 2.5

Good luck! Let me know if that works.
