    I am currently troubleshooting this issue I have with Guardian Edge Full Disk Encryption v9.5.3.  I've read the posts in another thread about this problem here https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/user-profile-service-failed-logon-problem-when-using-see-703-full-disk-and-windows-7

    The one solution that I am particularly interested in uses CACLS.EXE (deprecated) now iCACLS.EXE to provide the necessary permissions to the following XML file: C:\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Encryption Anywhere\RemovableStorageSettings.xml

    Forum member MartyFreedom stated the following:

    "I added a line in my installation wrapper to use "CACLS.EXE" to grant permissions on that file, so that it's all automatic now. Hope this helps!"

    Does anyone have instructions on how he did this? I assume that he used Windows System Image Manager to add a line in his unattend.xml file, or am I wrong?

    Any assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
