User Shares is Disabled not sure how to enable it

The drives I am trying to add are greyed out and it I am going under tools>options>Under Job defaults and I am not seing Network and Security option at all.  Not sure where to find it.  Thanks

BE console -tools - option -

BE console -tools - option - network and security -enable selection for user share.

 

also make sure you have required permission, can access via windows.

Striker,

The network and security option is not there. These are the options I am seeing, Device and Media, Back up, Restore, Test run, Job logs, and schedule.

I guess you are looking at backup job property.

Look for Tools at very top of page and then option.

Are you using the Backup Exec

Are you using the Backup Exec Quickstart Edition instead of the full version?

 

If yes does this help you see the options
