My apologies for the multiple, incomplete posts.  I was trying to edit the message
and add italics, when the screen cleared, et voila: multiple imcomplete messages.

I have an SBS 2003 server with C: holding system and programs, D: holding all data including Exchange and SQL databases.  Previously we did a nightly backup with BEWS of the entire server.

Now we've added BESR.  Some questions on using them:
1.  In BESR, should one backup D: as well as C:?
2.  To achieve a full system backup, should one use BESR to backup an image of C:, and in BEWS turn off the C: backup and use it only for the data on D:?
3.  Can BEWS backup the BESR image to tape once it is complete?

Thanks.

BEWS can indeed backup a BESR *.V2i file to tape, though you are not going to have as much compression on such files and it is best to use the AOFO option.
