  • 1.  Using Microsoft MDT2010 to create a base image with SEP 12.1 RU1

    Hello,

I'm using Microsoft MDT2010 to create a base image with SEP 12.1 RU1. When I get to the part of deleting the two registry key's I get an access denied. After researching this issue, I found this article http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=HOWTO54706  mentioning 'temper protection' may need to be turning off. I've disabled temper protection on the template group collection which I want any new image builds to be added to, but any new computers built with this image to be production group collection which has tamper protection enabled.

The SEP installer export package is pointing to a specific group (in this case porting to the production group collection) to add the client too when it checks in. I'm using this SEP package on the image build.

Help, Please let me know if any addtional information is needed/clarification.

    Thanks

    RK
