Using PGP in Windows 7 with Evidian SSO

    Hi,

I hope that you can assist. Recently we have upgraded pcs to Windows 7. We use a product for single sign on called Evidian, where we use a card and pin combination to login to the workstations. However after installing PGP this prevents the card from working as normal. Now it only works the first time logging in, but after that the card stops working when trying to unlock the pc and only using the normal username and password credentials will work. Has anyone used this combination before? Previously on Windows XP this worked fine. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks Mukesh.

We did make changes to our SSO driver on Windows 7 to use Microsoft newer API called Credential Provider.  This may explain why some of the changes are occuring only on Windows 7.  I would suggest trying Symantec Encryption desktop 10.3.0 Mp1 or or newer since we have made changes to our Single Sign On driver and also our WDE kernel filter driver on Windows 7 recently.  Are you using Single Sign of Symantec Drive Encryption (formerly PGP WDE) also?
