  • 1.  Using rsync with Messaging Gateway to check 3rd party DNSBLs

    I'd like to check incoming emails against some 3rd-party DNSBLs using rsync rather than internet DNS queries. Noticed, though, that rsync is not installed with Messaging Gateway (we're using the Messaging Gateway VM appliance (version 9.5.3) installed on VMWare vSphere 4 server). My questions are 1) Is it supported? and 2) How should I go about installing it?

    The Messaging Gateway is a locked down, hardened OS. There is no supported way of installing third party software. Even if you got it installed, how would you configure the ecelerity MTA to check the database?
