Using SEP Version 11 and 12 in my client company

Hi,

My Client Company previously using SEP 11 and now this company already have a license SEP 12 .. they want to apply a method, that is : using both version in this company.. 

My question :
1.what do you think ?
2.are there impact/consequenses if using this method ?

What sep 11 version are you using ?

SEPM 12 Can manage SEP 11 client you can use both product.

I am using SEP version 11.0.7000.975 ..
Really ? Can you tell the way ?

you can upgrade the SEPM to the latest and the clients can be upgraded at the later time.

so, in this way i do not need to use the 2 SEPM Server ?

Yes you don't need to use two sepm server in same envirement,

SEP 12.1 can manage both 11.x and 12.1 clients. I would suggest upgrading the SEPM to 12.1 and than you can work on getting all your clients to 12.1
