We are using a Symantec Encryption connected to our Active Directory true LDAP to encrypt our laptops, every user is put in the default Policy and forced to Encrypt the whole disk.

    This works fine!

We have a few educational facility's where we have multiple users per laptop but we want to keep the encryption.. and without single sing on. How can we arrange this?

Here is the article of how to disabe the SSO but still have PGP sync with users Windows password.

Also, a passphrase user can be created and this will just be a password for Bootguard and then a Windows login credentials will be required.
