Hi Symantec,
just been trying to get the VIP Access client working with Linux Mint. I'm using 'WINE' to run the installer which seems to work fine.
I've been able to work through most of the errors and now have the app running on my machine. I'm using Linux Mint 17 on a 64bit OS.
I'm using Wine 1.6.2.
I downloaded this version of the app: https://idprotect.vip.symantec.com/desktop/install.v
When I run the app I get the error number 0x20 and the message is:
"Activation not completed. Sign in again later to activate VIP access. Error 0x20"
The error messages from the command line are:
nherriot@Zenbook-UX32A ~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files (x86)/Symantec/VIP Access Client $ wine VIPUIManager.exe

I'm wondering is this to do with the WinHttpDetectAutoProxyConfigUrl discovery lib not being supported?
Have you seen this before? Any ideas on getting this working?
Kind regards, Nicholas
