Has anyone had any luck getting the LDAP Search to work for them? I have looked everywhere to find some examples and have had no luck. Wish there was some better documentation for this product. I am trying to input a user account ID and get all of the common attributes back such as givenName, firstName, lastName, etc.

I was able to make it work...

Make sure you are choosing the correct type in your search (I used 'user')

For filter, it wants AD specific filter info, so putting in 'zack' will get you an error, putting in cn=zack will get you somewhere..

So for my filter I did a merge field and merged my variable from a search field in a previous form with cn=. The search string looked like: cn=[Username]

Hope this helps some... the docs are coming.. there are lots of components to document. ;)

LDAP Help

I think this may help you and others out quite a bit. I've been working on AD components myself for Workflow.
