The media server is Windows 2003 32 bit standard while the Exchange server is Windows 2003  R2 Enterprise 64bit  .

I have a problem with the GRT technology during the Exchange Information store backup.

Exchange 2007 upgraded with sp3 and i have upgraded the symantec tools on the media server at the same version.

The job always end with V-79-57344-33928 code

Backup- \\Srvexc\Microsoft Information Store\First Storage Group
V-79-57344-33928 - Access Denied. Cannot backup directory Mailbox Database and its subdirectories.

Backup- \\Srvexc\Microsoft Information Store\Second Storage Group
V-79-57344-33928 - Access Denied. Cannot backup directory Public Folder Database and its subdirectories.

I have already check that no mailbox is disabled.

Hi bubbylo,

Also make sure you conform with the BE requirements to backup Exchange 2007 as per the TN below:

http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH51740

Thanks!

BE version isn't mentioned, but looks like you filed this post under BE 12.x...

Guessing GRT backups failed post applying SP3 as SP3 on Exch 2007 is supported with BE 2010 onwards and not with BE 12.5

BE version is 12 Rev 1364 and Exchange was without SP . I updated Exchange to sp3 only few days ago while the problem sterted before.

...then you're looking at an upgrade to at least BE 2010 R3 if you want to be supported.
