This is an incredibly weird one, I wonder if anyone can point me in the right direction.

Basically we have an ultrium drive LTO2 which is backing up using Symantec Backup Exec 11d and ONLY every Thursday night does it produce the above error. All articles seem to point to Tape Drivers or RAID controllers but surely none of which apply if it happens so specifically on one night.

Any idea's greatly appreciated.

Hi there,

Sorry for the late reply.
Have you tried pointing your job on the Thursday to the drive specifically, and not any available?
