Kind of like an Out Of Office feature, it would be very helpfull to 'Blackout' a worker till a specified date/time. If a worker is away on personal time, 100% allocated to another project or otherwiase unable to work incidents/processes, I would like to be able to set something in the system that somehow prevents items from being assigned to them or automaticly take the escalation path for that worker.

Today we have to send out mass comuunication to all offices and still have somebody watch that workers queue/e-mail so that items are handled timely and without issue.

Does anyone else see this as a usefull feature?

We have several processes in place which cover this:

- Workers away for a week or more are set "Inactive"

- A Notification Policy is running on ticket without activity within the first two hours after assigment.

Thanks

Sure. That would be very usefull!

I was writing abut that in http://forums.altiris.com/mess...id=53407&enterthread=y but still no ideas :-(

For the time being you can implement a routing rules as I did. Unfortunatelly only admin of HelpDesk can (de)activate the rules.
