You'll find that if the administrator has set the option 'Maximum Size' in the Vault Cache options on the Desktop Policy then the user will not be able to set thier cache size to exceed this. We allow them to choose a smaller size though, but they shouldn't be allowed to configure the desktop setting higher than the value set by the administrator.
