I quite didn't get it, when you say some are still in the library.
When a vault eject is run as per the profile configuration it will eject the tapes but the tapes which are used or in the drives can't be ejected. These tapes will still be in the library.
Please clarify what exactly is the issue!
Hi Shekaib,
I agree with Sazz. The symptom sounds rather odd. Anyhow, you might want to start by checking the Activity Monitor > Job Detail > take note of the Vault SID, then check the detail.log in /usr/openv/netbackup/vault/sessions/<vault name>/sidxxx/
The Vault log can be useful too: /usr/openv/netbackup/db/vault/
Cheers.
hi,
please provide the detail.log,summary. and Privewlist as attachment form
from the /usr/openv/netbackup/vault/sessions/<vault name>/<failed session id>/
In support of the above the vault job woudl also have a non zero exit staus - what does the vault job say?
Unless you have set a limit somewhere - or the job is still actually running waiting for the mail slot to be emptied so that it can continue the eject
