Vault service account & system mailbox account

Dear All,

Having below queries regarding EV 10.

  • Whether Vault Service Account & System Mailbox Account is different for Exchange archiving?
  • If they are different, whether we need to configure mailbox for Vault Service Account or not.

yes they are different.

Yes you need to have a mailbox for the Vault Service Account if you are targeting Exchange 2010 or higher (so that you can apply a throttling policy).
