Veritas vs. Symantec
Veritas was the name of the company that owned NetBackup, Backup Reporter, etc.
Symantec bought Veritas a few years ago. Many of us still use the names Veritas & Symantec interchangably in our posts.
In fact, "VBR" (Veritas Backup Reporter) is still the acronym used for Backup Reporter.
Veritas is also Latin for
Veritas is also Latin for "Truth"
