I am running Symantec Antivirus 10.1.6.6000 parent servers and clients.
Parent Servers - Windows 2003 Standard SP 2
Clients - Windows XP SP 2, Windows 2003 SP 2

Problem - Client machines are SAN attached and are updated using VDTM.
Is it possible using this method to stagger the times at which clients get updated.
Currently the clients approx 132 machines get updated within a 15 minute period. I would like to have a long time during which updates occurr.
Is there a way to achieve this using VDTM?
Is there any other way that I can achieve the objective of increasing the time period during which updates occur?

    Yes, you can do that.

Open console>Right Click your Server>Alltask>SYmantec Antivirus>Virus definition Manager> How clients retrieve Virus definition UPdates>click on settings button> and increase the time from 60 min to xxmin as you want.

ALso do Right Click your Server>Alltask>SYmantec Antivirus>Server Tunign options>Number of threads to use during Roll out. Decrease this value to say around 10-20.
