I backup all my servers to local storage hard drives, then once a week I run duplication to tape. I have everything compressed and encrypted.  How do can I restore from a tape that was ran from duplication?  Also how can I verify the tape is correct after a couple days or a week later?  Maybe I need to change up my backup jobs to a better practice?  

Friday = Full backups ( each server hases it own job )

Saturday - Thursday - Increment jobs

Monday - Duplication from Full to tape
