Verify Session ID failed

This issue has been solved. See solution.

I got ServiceDesk to install just fine and import in all our users from AD. I logged in on a couple of different AD test accounts and all was good with initial login and follow-up authentication. I then thought I would change the default admin@logicbase.com account password from the default of admin to something else. Once I did this and then attempted to login with another account, I get a "Verify Session ID failed" error and can't get past that point, no matter which account I'm trying to login as. Anyone have this problem before and been able to resolve it? Thanks

I assume you installed in

I assume you installed in "Native Mode" and then did the AD import later on.
In this case you cannot easily change the password of the admin@logicbase.com account, as it is hardcoded into the web.config file (and probably to other files as well).

You could try to change it in the web.config file manually, once changed in the UI.

No I installed in

No I installed in authentication mode. I changed it in the web config and restarted IIS but still couldn't get it to work so I did a clean uninstall/reinstall to get back in. Seems pretty amazing that there is not an easy way to change the default admin password.
