Verifying the Approver using the Approval Workflow Component

    I am using an ApprovalWorkflow Component for a Vacation Request form.  I have found that if the Approver fowards the email to another user it will allows them to open the web interface and Approve/Deny the request.  I have the Person Assignment set to the Approvers Email address pulled from Active Directory.  What am I doing wrong?
