  • 1.  Verifying Oracle (11r2g) PSU for Symantec DLP v12x

    The next Oracle PSU is available on 20th October.
    Symantec recommend installing the PSU's but do Symantec validate the Oracle PSU's for each version of Symantec DLP?
    If Symantec do, what checks are performed?
    If Symantec do not, how can I make sure that the Oracle PSUs will not be harmful to my version of DLP?

    Yes, Symantec do test and certify the Oracle CPU patches for DLP.

    But I believe you may not get the security check performed.
