In general, you should know: NetBackup architecture, deployment scenarios, commands. Plus, you should have practical knowledge of the product.

You can find answer on Symantec official web-site - pre-assessment. And yes, exam is not the easy one.

Fun stuff. I didn't noticed

Fun stuff. I didn't noticed that the post was 3yrs old :)

Anyway, there a lot of IT Pros who want to pass their first exam and wondering how hard it will be. They not want to find easier way to pass it, but rather to be confident.

I thought that only partners

I thought that only partners can give the exam.

Is the netbackup certification open to all?

Partners has own

Partners has own certification - STS. It is simpler to SCS, but still require a lot of effort to achieve.

BTW. I got 2 STS Certs ;)

Well...

I think we've breathed some new life into the "old-girl"

Not bad for a 3-year old post with no comments!
